Wild Runners

I am not a runner, but I do love a nice long walk. I’d worn out a pair of Sauconys I had gotten from a competitor about 8 months ago, so I decided to give this place a try to support local business. It was a terrific experience! The staff member was kind, welcoming and knowledgeable.

Great selection of quality shoes for running, hiking, and more. I love my Topos, 361s, and Tevas, and when I want to try something new, I can always count on Gian to explain the characteristics of each shoe and how it may or may not fit my needs. Lots of stylish, colorful, and functional clothing as well.

Running stores like these remind me of the importance of community-centric shops! Run by knowledgeable, engaged staff (esp the owners!) they know what they’re talking about and will help outfit you however you need. Really intentionally stocked store, too- not stuff you can find everywhere.

My favorite place to buy running gear! And the Thursday evening run group is so welcoming and inclusive. A great addition to Old Fair Oaks! Definitely stop by if you get a chance. :)
