Road Runner Sports

This was our first time at Road Runner and Giovanni helped us tremendously! He sure knew his stuff and helped us get fitted properly for new Brooks shoes, socks and insoles!

They did a good job of fitting you up and helping out. It does appear that their primary goal is shoes. The first thing that happened when I walked in was that an associate approached me and said we should get me on the treadmill. ....I hadn't even said why I was there yet, but I'm sure I was telegraphing a bit.

Road Runner seems to have a nice selection of shoes and clothing, but I went in three times in two weeks to get the right shoe. I feel as if I had to constantly ask for assistance, as the staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping me find the right shoe.

This was my first time buying running shoes anywhere but Big5. After the comprehensive analysis narrowed down the best options for me, I tried on several pairs of shoes from various brands. Miriah (I think that was her name, San Carlos) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

If you're looking for a pair of running shoes and aren't hunting for a one-off bargain, this is a great spot. They have lots of shoes and knowledgeable staff. If you're a committed runner who's going to go through a few pairs of shoes per year, they have some great loyalty programs.
