Beck's Shoes

I never knew shopping at a shoe store could feel luxurious! I hardly ever write reviews, but I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Beck’s this past week. I’ve lived in Berkeley for several years, but never thought to stop by this shop.

I try to always shop local, and Beck's makes it incredibly easy with their knowledgeable, personable staff. They offer the perfect blend of attentive, old-school service and new-school foot-scanning technology. Their selection is stylish without being overly trendy, and genuinely good for your feet.

Amazing store, I bought two pairs of very cute socks, and they had a wide selection. They ranged from just plane good quality solid colored socks to fun patterned ones that where still surprisingly thick on comfortable.

I hate shoe shopping. But Brian and Victoria were so knowledgeable, helpful, patient and friendly that they made the experience so easy. I'm really pleased with my purchases (New Balance sneakers, insoles and socks). Special shout out to Victoria who has a keen eye for style.
