The Service: So, I dropped by Village Runner in Redondo Beach to check out some Hoka shoes. The experience? Pretty awesome. The guy helping me out was super friendly – the kind that makes you feel at ease right away. The Hunt for Hokas: Here’s the thing – they didn’t have the exact Hoka style I was after.

If you want knowledgeable staff and running shoes that fit correctly, this is the place to go. They've been around a long long time, have the experience, know running, running shoes and how to properly fit them. Plus, they have a good selection of styles, brands, sizes and accessories. (First responder friendly.)

I had some slight difficulty redeeming a partially damaged gift card, but ultimately was able to resolve the situation and everything worked out. The store manager, Darren, reached out via email as well and was very nice about the situation. You can of course try on shoes in store.

Had a great experience today at Village Runner! Walked in searching for a carbon plated shoe for an upcoming race and was delighted with the knowledgeable staff. Told the staff about my foot shape, slight pronation tendencies, as well as my primary concerns for a shoe.
