The Personalized Running Doc

I was training for my second Dopey Challenge when I began considering getting a running coach. I heard Lauren on one of the running podcasts I listen to. I was experiencing hamstring and patellar tendonitis so choosing a coach who is also a physical therapist was very appealing to me.

Lauren is the best at what she does. I connected with Lauren after two failed marathon attempts due glute issues and a torn labrum. I was constantly in pain when I tried to run and my confidence that I could be competitive in the sport was shot.

I first met Lauren through community run clubs and became friends. When I decided to go after bigger goals in running, I knew I needed a plan. There was no one else I would have gone to other than Lauren. I was tackling my first marathon build and she coached me the entire way.

I have LOVED working with Lauren!! As a seasoned half marathoner, I started working with Lauren towards a marathon goal this year. We worked together through the best training block I’ve ever had for a spring race and am excited to see what I can do with her on my team for my fall marathon.
