The Outpost Running & Walking Co.

I had my eye out on this place for a while and finally had the chance to visit over the weekend. The place was a bit smaller than I expected (kudos to the social media manager for making it look like a big place). They have a pretty big selection of shoes and all other things related to running.

In a world heading towards impersonal purchasing through apps, The Outpost stands out as a breath of fresh air providing more than just running gear. The people of The Outpost work hard to cultivate community while delivering fantastic customer service. They’re not just knowledgeable but they also listen.

The outpost running has been truly an amazing place! I went there to get just gels for my first race. Now I keep going back for the great community that they provide. The staff is super knowledgeable have been amazing in order to get the right kinds of shoe which has made a big difference in my runs.

So happy that this store opened up closer to us in long branch! It looks amazing inside but what really sets this place apart from other running stores is the staff who go above and beyond to find the perfect shoe for you.
