Takken’s Shoes - Shoes | Boots | Shoe Repair

I cannot say enough about the customer service I've received from all the staff there at Takkens San Luis Obispo. Multiple returns over the past couple of days on boots/hiking shoes. Felt good at the store but after wearing them inside my house after a couple of hours, my feet were telling me, "not the right fit".

Takken's is awesome. Their staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help you find what you need. When I needed a heel repair a while back, a friend recommended Takken's and I called them and even though their cobbler wasn't going to be able to get the repair done in the time I needed…

The fact that I could get my favorite boots repair was amazing. The fact that there was free parking made it so nice. And much to my surprise, they have really great selection of workboots and dress boots at incredibly reasonable prices. From now on it will be my favorite place to buy boots.

I am on a 2 1/2 week motorcycle tour of California and noticed that my 53 year-old motorcycle helmet had some serious leather wear and tear on the leather harness. it was a long shot, but I pulled into Takkens In downtown San Luis Obispo to see if they could help.
