Santa Cruz Running Company

Just found this gem in Santa Cruz and I’m so happy about it. Great customer service and super friendly staff. I usually buy my running gear online because I didn’t know we had such a good store around here. I was getting ready to run my first half marathon and decided last minute to try some arm warmers.

I'd bought a pair of training shoes here before (Brooks Ghost), but now that I'm getting more into running I wanted something to use for speed work. I came in on a busy Saturday morning and was helped by a very enthusiastic woman. She brought out a few pairs for me to try for fit and on the treadmill.

The staff is experienced, knowledgeable, and kind. I have been able to buy shoes here for myself and my son for all our sports activities. They scan your foot and have many options. My son can be hard to buy for and when we come to this store he always leaves with shoes to run in. He has just started running track.

Great knowledgeable staff... The person that helped me pick a shoe had personal experience with each one, and asked me really smart questions about the sort of running I do, the miles, the type of workouts, etc. in order to find something that would meet my needs.
