I didn't know this was here until a few years ago and now it is one of our favorite places in the south west! The jewelry is second to none, world-class and some of the best in original craftsmanship I've ever seen. Plus the prices are great we get out this way several times a year, highly recommend !!
My partner vends at pow wows and brought me to Running Bear for the first time today -- she's shopped there for over 30 years and says it's a "MUST" stop for good Zuni fetishes. Great selection, very good prices, friendly, accommodating staff, and the jewelry room will knock your socks off.
As of 2021 they are only offering to wholesale sellers. Amazing selection of beautiful and very friendly staff. We love stopping at Running Bear whenever we visit Gallup
I thought Running Bear trading post was established by Pete Schultz in 1974 , at least that's what i recall .
