Runners Roost

I decided to start running again. It’s been years and shoe tech has evolved like crazy. Rather than spending hours on the internet or hopping in and out of Foot Locker or the Nike Store, I went to Runners Roost. Since I’m flat-footed I wanted something that would give me good support with a wide enough toe box.

I bought the Hoka Bondi 9s as my first running shoe a few months back and recently started getting blisters around my instep, so I came here to get a gait analysis and in-person recommendations. Richard assessed my foot shape and both walking/running patterns.

So I stopped in wondering about shoes for running and working out. I was super overwhelmed looking online and didn't know how to approach getting a new pair. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the staff. I explained my situation and the clerk, Anna, was super receptive.

Good selection of quality sport shoes. Prices are comparable to other stores. Staff there really listen to what you are looking for and will let you try shoes and see how they affect your gait, until you find what works for you. Kudos to Thomas, the new guy, for being so patient and striving to help.
