Runner’s Edge was opened 20 years ago by Anders Brooker who was around my age running track and cross country in high school so I recognized him and try my best to support them. I think he offered me a job in 2003 when I was assistant coaching cross country at Loyola Sacred Heart high school.
The staff is very knowledgeable on directing you to the type of shoe will best fit the activity you'll be using it for. They are friendly and very helpful. I especially love how they utilize tee shirts from past running events to create the perfect shopping bags; which you can then re-use regularly.....
The Runner's Edge never stops impressing, and never stops inspiring. In training for my first Marathon, it wasn't even a question where I would go. The Runner's Edge has always been the number one resource for trail running and so it was for my first road race.
More than a store, it’s a lifeline. I’ve shopped here so many times, but after today when I received advice on what to expect for my first triathlon from one of the employees, I realized I don’t know what I’d do without Runner’s Edge!!
