Marathon Sports

I have been here a few times. But since I no longer run, I haven't stopped in at all. My most recent visit was to ouch up race bibs for the black rock run this June 2024. The staff can't be any nicer. That's the thing about local running stores, the attentiveness is unbeatable. And I wasn't even shopping there!

I've been running for 20 years so I've been through a lot of shoes. And a lot of shoe stores. Marathon Sports beats them all. When you go ask for Dan - he is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He picked the perfect shoe for my foot.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping me find the perfect pair of running shoes. They took the time to assess my gait, listen to my needs, and provide expert recommendations.

Dan from Marathon Sports Fairfield was excellent to talk to on the phone and his customer service was top notch. He even went out of his way to get the sneakers, slap the shipping label on the box and ship it to me quickly because I was healing from a stress fracture and need to get used to the sneakers before my trip.
