This is an example of why Google should use a 0 to 10 scale. We should be able to give zeroes as well as recognize a true 10. Lost Creek Shoe Shop is a freaking 10! The binocular and spotting scope section is a dream made true for birders or nature enthusiasts wishing to upgrade to the top of the line optics companies.

Went out to look and see what they had. Their assortment impressive. I wanted for birdwatching. The owner went thru about a dozen pair of nocs with me, mostly used. No pressure - none. Very knowledgable and patient and kept process simple and gave me the opportunity to decide what was right for me, not him.

I was totally impressed with this store. They don't have a website, don't do facebook, and if you call them you have to leave a message and they'll call you back as they don't have a phone in the store. I was there to buy binoculars, and the selection is better than anything else I've seen and prices were better too.

Very helpful and friendly service. A small store with a surprisingly large selection of quality work boots. Owned and operated by local Amish. So don't expect newfangled electric card readers. They still use the old slide thing.
