Larsen's is one of those sites you might tend to ignore or walk past in today's age of Amazon, Walmart or Macy's etc. However this would a big ole mistake. Tucked away downtown, catercorner from the stores in the bridge, and still thriving since 1908!!!! Example.
I went in to get 3 items for my dad. having never shopped the store I asked for helped I was Blessed with great staff members. not only did I get what I needed she suggested another item that would make my life better. I was in and out in 20 minutes. They even helped my 84 year mother get a great fitting coat!
Stopped in while giving my out-of-town friend a tour of Sandpoint and Melissa in the shoe department was so kind and friendly! She knew everything about a multiple variety of brands and helped my friend buy a new pair of Bogs for a great price! Highly recommend shopping local and supporting good people :)
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and there is a huge selection of home goods, clothing, and other miscellaneous items. They have a whole floor for shoes, though there is no handicapped/wheelchair access that I noticed. I love coming here.
