Alec's Shoe Store

I came in to Alec’s today looking for a new pair of brooks. When I walked in, I was greeted by several staff who seemed to love their jobs. When I was ready to start trying on shoes, I was assisted by Kaitlyn. (sorry if I’m spelling your name wrong!) Kaitlyn was extremely knowledgeable about every shoe on the market.

My go to place for shoes. They always check your size, the shoes you are wearing and offer you options. Today we went home with shoes for myself and my youngest. He said they fit fine in the store and didn't let us check (ugh, teenagers). I told him to walk around but he only took a short walk.

This shoe store has the most helpful, knowledgeable staff you could ever hope to find anywhere. I brought my almost 90 year old mother here on the advise of her podiatrist and they helped her find comfortable and nice looking shoes, sneakers, and sandals that worked with all her medical limitations.

We doom scrolled all the online vendors to get a baseline of what it probably would cost for a pair of New Balance. 990 sneakers. Decided to go to Alec's And support local small businesses. His price was $30 lower than the online stores with an added 10% off for being over 65.
